Another Wednesday, another Tale from the Studio – and of course I show you my desk.

Dear blog readers… you are probably wondering why this week’s Road Trip post isn’t on my blog. Well… there was an accident along the way… I did write a long post, working on it every now and then last week, and then yesterday evening a fault was made with my blog and I lost my draft/post.
??
I couldn’t believe it.
LOST????
??
Yes, dear ones… it’s gone.
I tried everything this morning to get it back but there is no way.
I will have to write it again, so it will take another week before we travel to Virginia.
See you there and then!
I have a quick and easy post for you today – not much happened in the studio last week as I was not feeling well, but I have a golden oldie for you and of course I photographed my (almost empty) work top.
If you’re new to The BIG Road Trip – all the information can be found on this page. Curious how this series came about? Find the ‘why’ in this first announcement post. All BIG Road Trip posts can be found archived here. If you want to submit a guest post about your state, or if you want to share state-related art, stories, inspiration or links, email me at bigroadtrip[at]maritspaperworld[dot]com
These ‘follow up’ posts seem less interesting so I’m thinking of skipping the ‘follow up posts’ and instead, visit one state per week and add a mr. Linky list at the end of each post, so that you can leave your links there. I don’t know how to plan it all yet, but there might be some changes to the ‘system’ in the coming weeks…
Anyway – for now – short but sweet: the ‘follow up’ for Maryland.
When I look out the window today, there’s a ray of sunshine and a small, blue spot visible in the grey and cloudy sky… I also noticed that the little blue flowers in my front yard (don’t know the name, I should take a photo!) finally came to bloom – they are very late this year because of the cold, but now Spring seems to finally has arrived. It is a good day for a long walk and I might just do that this afternoon. But first a blogpost with a haiku, art journal pages and some link love…

Delaware does not seem an inspiring state either.
You were awefully quiet – but later in the week, Donna Ruth send me an email…

Cold day lovelies… errmmm, I mean GOOD day of course – xcuse-me, but “cold” is on our minds here in Holland lately. When I woke up this morning, I found a white world outside my window… Grrrr, it had snowed. AGAIN *sigh*
The snow melted during the morning, but still: it is too cold for the time of year. These temperatures are a bit strange to experience in the Easter weekend in the Netherlands but hey… I’ll put on an extra sweater and just keep on going.
So here’s the Friday post with – of course – a haiku (a special ‘Easter haiku’ today) and quite some art. I’m pretty productive since I have a studio. So sit down, make yourself comfortable, grab another chocolate egg (you have my permission
) and come on in.
