Hey there sweeties… Friday again, and you know what that means don’t you?!

Cold day lovelies… errmmm, I mean GOOD day of course – xcuse-me, but “cold” is on our minds here in Holland lately. When I woke up this morning, I found a white world outside my window… Grrrr, it had snowed. AGAIN *sigh*
The snow melted during the morning, but still: it is too cold for the time of year. These temperatures are a bit strange to experience in the Easter weekend in the Netherlands but hey… I’ll put on an extra sweater and just keep on going.
So here’s the Friday post with – of course – a haiku (a special ‘Easter haiku’ today) and quite some art. I’m pretty productive since I have a studio. So sit down, make yourself comfortable, grab another chocolate egg (you have my permission ) and come on in.

… of you: for leaving me all those lovely birthday wishes last Tuesday.
… of you: for visiting the FEATURING website and facebook page,
and being enthusiastic and of course for buying the magazine.
… of Josie George: who wrote this cheering blogpost.
… of fireplaces in the house (which I have not) and cuddling up
in a blanket (which I have) now that Autumn perseveres.
… and Ma’am, here’s an extra post for you.
Well, I dared Phinner the other day to both make something for the
challenge at Scrapping the Music – I did my part and to be in time
for the deadline (June 27) I post it right now.

may I flare up yet?

… Are you looking at me?…
… It’s rude to stare…
…. but not on my blog it is!
I WANT you to look ’cause I have things to show you!
There are the two ATC’s above – with the rams -
that I made a while ago, but I also finished the pages for Alicia’s
tallest handmade book in the world – project
so come on in and enjoy!
It’s the second day of my favourite month: September.
I love the smell of Autumn in the air.
I love the sun standing low at the horizon, making long shadows.
I love the quietness of this month.
September always makes me a bit melancholic too.
Somewhat like in the song ‘September morning’ by Neil Diamond.
I’m far from being a fan, but I keep that one CD especially for that song,
and I only play it in September. Once.
(After all, I can’t have melancholy developing into a depression.)
