Good morning lovelies!
Is it Friday already?
Oh yes, it is… time flies!

You all know what to expect on Friday don’t you?

Haiku my heart!

But there’s more in this post,

Broken, repaired
and a little bit of blues…

Remember this?

..

It’s the unfinished page
I made for A Year in
the Life of an Art Journal
.

I wrote in this blogpost
how I struggled with the
prompt, and in the end
I left the page unfinished
and moved on…

… to come back to it
last weekend!

reruns

Summer in the Netherlands.
Grey skies and 63 degrees outside.
Sweatshirt and thick socks.
Endless reruns on television.

..

I go with the flow so today I show you my own ‘rerun’
of a little book I made for my mum in 2008
(yes, I’ve been writing haiku’s for years…)

Blaahhh & unfinished artwork

My creative life ain’t really ‘flowing’ the last weeks. I can’t seem to focus
or work on a page for longer than an hour or so… I guess it all has to do
with watching the Tour de France and writing articles for CmF in between.
A girl can only have a certain amount of things on her mind and it seems
my head is filled with all that. No room for more… (and I’m not even blond ;) )

So although I DO have something to show to you today, don’t expect
the best artwork from me this time. It’s either unfinished or ‘blaahhh…’
But hey, don’t we all have periods like that?!

Men on bikes

Some of you did not expect this from me, but every Summer I’m under
the spell of the ‘Tour de France’.
For you who don’t know what this is: The Tour de France is a bicycle race
that is made up of 21 stages and covers a total distance of 3,430.5 kilometres.
For three long weeks, I spend half of the the afternoon in front of the TV.
The first days the route leads over flat terrain which isn’t very spectacular
to watch… normally.

However, this years’ tour is thrilling and spectacular right from the beginning!
The riders seem to be nervous, and there were a lot of accidents and battles
going on in the riders platoon…

[Are you getting tired of me talking about bicycles yet?
Hang in there crafters... there's something creative in this post too!
It's even a video, to make up for my 'sports-talk']

I can’t think…

… of a good title for my blogpost today.

Is it because I write this on Monday evening, while normally I type my posts
on Tuesday mornings? (I have an appointment on Tuesday, that’s why)

Am I that set in my habits? (and if that is the case, do you think I should
do something about it?)

Is it because the ‘article writing job’ started again while I was just used
to a new routine?

Oh, never mind. You can think of a title yourself and be grateful that
I post at all ;)
There is even some artwork published in this post!

A versatile Friday

I have a versatile blogpost for you this Friday, so there’s something
for everyone!

First of all, this post is part of a bloghop that is arranged especially
for Theresa. Her friend Lea made all her friends ‘come together’ on
their blogs, and Theresa can hop from one to another.

So here it is especially for you Theresa:

Happy birthday!!!

I forgot to take a photo of the card I made for Theresa, but it looks a bit
like this one that I made for another birthday girl last week
(Happy birthday to you too Jenneke – did you get my card?)

And Theresa… next person on your bloghop-list is Julie Tucker Wolek

For all my other readers… there’s more, so read on!
