Marit's Paper World (blog)

Over the last six weeks I taught two online workshops and I spend
a lot of time in the workshop-community with a bunch of ladies (no
guys this time… ) Both groups were very enthusiastic and the albums
in the (closed) community got filled with art work that really blew me away!

So much so, that now the workshop has come to an end, I want to show
you – my blogreaders – some of the art that was made in the classes.
It is just a grip from each workshop but there is more to see in the gallery
on the website (see the link at the end of this post)

So today’s post has no art made by me – I did create last weekend (yep,
my Muse returned but she needs pampering and petting to get back to work…)
I will show you that on Friday.

The day is halfway and I’m still running around like (as we say in
the Netherlands) a headless chicken…

I uploaded the photos for this post earlier today, but I could not find
words to go in this post. Not even the title… My head is somewhere else.
How come? Well,  FEATURING was send to the print office today!
OHMY – In a week or so, the magazine will be born on paper.
A real magazine, MY magazine… I will be able to flip through the pages.
I’m so curious how you guys are going to like it!
It really is going to happen now and yes, I am nervous to the bone.

Sooo, I will show you last weeks artwork without much words.

Did you miss me last Friday?

Did I long for sunny weather last week? Oh yes!

My wish was answered – but you know the saying:
“Look out what you wish for, it might come true”.

It’s tropical hot last days.
For Holland, that is… if you live in a hot area you probably laugh
at 35 Celsius / 95 Fahrenheit, but it’s a little too much for me.

Guess what?
The moment I thought ‘this is a bit overly’ the forcast predicts
thunderstorms, heavy showers, hail, rain and wind.
Right.

Let’s get this post in the air as soon as possible then, ’cause when
thunderstorms hit our house we will turn out all the computers.
(We always do – computers are our living and we don’t want them damaged)

Well, now, your wishes
will be granted to your
complete satisfaction!

Not just ‘one workshop in a
small room’, not just a
‘one technique tutorial’,
no, an all-inclusive and
long weekend filled with
workshops and creativity!

This weekend will take place
on the inspiring peninsula
of Walcheren (Province of
Zeeland) in the Netherlands.

The workshop location is within walking distance of the beach.

Sand and waves, wind and water are never far away, so these elements will certainly be reflected in the workshops.
