Found Poetry Friday #24

.

I love poetry.
I am especially fond of ‘found poetry’, and I mean found in all its forms… found in book titles, found in magazines, on book pages, cut out words and sentences – you name it. There is so much possible when it comes to ‘found poetry’… and this kind of poetry is also great to use on art journal pages also.

I therefore started FOUND POETRY FRIDAY – everyone is welcome to play along!

There is an “Inlinkz”-list at the end of this post. If you want to share your found poems, you are welcome to add your name to the list that will link us to your blogpost.

You can post your found poem on your own blog any time during the week, so you don’t have to make YOUR Fridays all about poetry – you just link us to the post that contains your poem. Please use the url that goes directly to you ‘found poetry post.’

woyww #278 & September Chronicles

.

Goodmorning beautiful people!
I got up very early this morning, it was still dark and I had to wait ’till sunrise (and a little bit longer) before the light in the atelier was strong enough to take a proper picture of my desk – but at around 8.30 the things on my desk became visible enough to take a photo.
Come on in and view what is was on it – oh, and I have some art journal pages for you to see too!

Chronicles – my art journal in August

I still have some more catching up to do with showing you my Chronicles art journal pages from last months. I showed you the pages from April to July in this post with a little explanation about my absence in those months. In today’s post I show you the pages/weeks from last August.
Enjoy.

woyww #276, a dove family and a quote

It is again Wednesday and again a beautiful Autumn morning (almost like Summer even, as it is going to be 25 degrees Celcius – (77 Fahrenheit.)

I will take advantage of it by going for a bike ride to the seashore and take a long walk over the dunes and along the beach. But before I step on my bike, I have some photos to show you. To begin with my workdesk and how it looks this morning.

(“why a picture of your desk” you may ask? That’s because of Julia from Stamping Ground and her ‘What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday” series. Click the link to find out all about woyww and join the fun!)

My atelier is at the front of the appartment – on the North-West side which means the light is ideal to work by – but there’s something interesting happening on the back of the appartment too these days (the sunny, South-East balcony-side) which I want to show you.

Chronicles: April to July

When you saw the title you probably thought this would be one of those ‘picture overload’ posts… but it isn’t. Chronicle pages  from April to July may sound like a lot but I have only a few pages to show you from that period ’cause April, May and June were the weeks that I did not work in my journals…

First I could not do a thing because of the stress of looking at a deadline to find a new house and after we found that, by the end of April, my weeks were filled with packing and moving to the new place. Living in the new appartment brought new troubles and more stress (a noisy neighbour lived above us) and instead of relaxing after a difficult period, we faced yet again firestorms.

woyww #275 and more…

I just got back from the dentist, who pulled two teeth… there’s nothing much to do now than wait until the anesthesia wears to see how I will feel the rest of the day…  right now I don’t feel any pain so I better use this ‘free time’ to write a blogpost. Let’s start with showing my workdesk and how it looked like this morning – photographed for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.
