is a magical number…
Seven kings of Rome
Seven emperors in the antique times (Julius Caesar, Augustus,
Galba, Hadrian, Nerva, Sallust, Vespasian)
Seven hills of Rome
Seven wise Masters, a cycle of medieval stories
Seven wonders of the ancient world
(… I’m not done yet…)
Good morning friends.
Good morning computer.
Good morning Internet.
Good morning blog!
Last week – Friday evening – the computer went black.
Over and out….
My beloved tested everything and anything – but the poor thing
had to go to the specialist. (the computer that is, not my beloved)
It took days… days in which I managed to get the guest post for Quirky
Dutch Summer online via our ‘emergency computer’ which has a very
small screen, a MOUSE (- eeeckkk – I always work with a tablet and pen)
and no access to my photos, my stuff whatsoever.
That’s why I was not able to visit my haiku friends last week.
That’s why I was awfully quiet on the Internet.
I was forced to take a vacation from the world wide web!
The computer is fixed but my beloved took the opportunity to use
our ‘forced vacation’ for cleaning our office space. It’s not done yet so -
although I do have access to the web again – I will have to stay out of
this room for the next days.
I use this one hour I have on the computer to p0st photos I made last days.
(Oh, and I even wrote a haiku!)
The birth of FEATURING magazine has begun!
By the end of the week, this baby will be delivered, YAY!
The cover of the magazine was the first thing that rolled out of the
printing machine – and we were there to capture the big moment!
Oh, and did you know FEATURING is on facebook too?
(*teehee* now you know.)
Happy Valentine’s Day dear ones!
… And happy it is, ’cause temperatures rose above zero, the ice melted
and our drain pipe is open! There’s not much damage (one small crack
in the pipe) and we will replace it for a wider pipe in Spring.
I already loaded the washing machine twice and a big pile of laundry
hangs drying upstairs, the house smells like a laundromat!
9 DAYS FROM NOW….

I woke up early this morning.
‘They’ said on tv yesterday evening that it could snow at night
- but nope, outside it was grey and rainy.
It still is.
That was a little bit disappointing.
Just a little bit.
It didn’t effect my mood.
I lightened my Christmas branches.
I made myself a pot of strong coffee,
and I wrote a haiku!
Sit down, relax… I won’t bother you with announcements.
I have some fun photos to show.
And a haiku.
Oh, and an art journal page.
And yes… a winner for the giveaway…
In fact: TWO winners!
… it seemed only yesterday…
