The freezing lunatic

It’s still freezing in the Netherlands and yes, our drainpipe is still frozen.
I haven’t done the laundry all week (don’t worry, I have plenty of clothes
to wear – not being able to choose the faves from my closet forced me to
make long forgotten picks from my wardrobe. I could even be seen in tights
with a flutter skirt and a woolen cardigan!)

Luckily, the weather forecast predicts warmer temperatures. YEAY!
I know, most of the Dutchies are disappointed that the ‘Elfstedentocht’
(see this post) won’t be held, but I’m not one of them. If it were up to me

Autumn has really set in.
This morning, mist hung over the houses and the sounds coming from

five pages – some aren’t finished yet – but I do have some things to show.

I love the smell of Autumn in the air.
I love the sun standing low at the horizon, making long shadows.
I love the quietness of this month.

September always makes me a bit melancholic too.
Somewhat like in the song ‘September morning’ by Neil Diamond.
I’m far from being a fan, but I keep that one CD especially for that song,
and I only play it in September. Once.
(After all, I can’t have melancholy developing into a depression.)

Sorry, I’m late…

Goodafternoon … WEDNESDAY!

I know, I know.. you probably were wondering where the Tuesday post went…
Sorry, no time yesterday. I had a lot on my mind. Nice things though (see post
on top of my blog and my website)

But here I am, to show you the latest art journal pages
(yep, I also was creative in between… I had sort of an energy rush, YAY!)
