Good morning lovely ones, I’m back on this sunny Wednesday and so is my energy – well, sort of. After three weeks struggling with an ugly virus I finally beat it. It lays convulsing on the ground but it almost kicks the bucket. I’m glad ’cause the sun is shining and flowers bloom (crocuses and daffodils everywhere.) Spring is in the air and I am so ready for it! I can use some vitamine D.
Therefore, my desk does not show much activity today. A little bit of paper clippings and an open art journal. That’s all. I flipped through some magazines yesterday to cut out bits and pieces without having a real plan – I may create something with the images but they may well be put away in the archives, we’ll see… Anyway, I photographed my desk today to join What’s On My Work desk Wednesday once again (hi guys, happy to be back!)
Because I didn’t post much over the last weeks but kept on creating in my art journals I have a lot of pages to show you. I won’t throw them all at once on my blog though. Just three spreads from the Chronicles journal. (I hope our woyww-hostess/mistress Julia is OK with that.)
The Chronicles of Marit 2017 – Week 6
The Chronicles of Marit 2017 – Week 7

OHMY… a resident somewhere above me in the building has just figured that he will use this beautiful day to start renovating his apartment and has begun drilling…. time to go for a long walk, do some grocery shopping and I hope that the drilling will stop in the afternoon so I can visit my fellow deskers without the noise. Keep your fingers crossed sweeties… see you soon!

So happy to hear you are on the mend and the day is sunny and walking will be full of flowery delights. In Texas spring for us is Blue bonnets along all the highways, Thanks to lady Bird Johnson! They prefer full sun to do their happy dance. Abundant rains this spring means there will be other flowers to follow.
You pages are always interesting. Keep getting better.

It’s a good idea to collect magazine images for inspiration for future projects. I think it’s better to take an image and build a page around it, rather than try to find an image to match an existing page, which is what I tend to do. Loving all your completed pages! Enjoy the Spring and flowers! zsuzsa #22

So glad to hear you are feeling better Marit. It seems these bugs don’t give up easily this year do they? I had one for weeks too. I’m glad to see you kept creating though, they are certainly striking pages.
I hope your neighbour has stopped his drilling to give you some peace now.
Have a good week.
