I can’t believe it’s Friday again… time flies! We’re well into October and the trees in front of my balcony show less and less leaves – it’s just a matter of time and they will look like those creepy Halloween tree-silhouettes I see popping up on creative projects in the online crafty world. However, the silhouettes don’t look frighting yet and I just had to take a photo of the morning sky last week… the stripes of the planes against the pinkish sky was so beautiful. It was not until I uploaded the photo that I saw the bird flying parallel to the plane – so that became the subject of today’s haiku.

I submit this haiku to Haiku My Heart; is a wonderful place where people from all over the world
post beautiful photos and and write amazing Haiku. It is hosted by Rebecca
and you can find the list of participants on her blog Recuerda Mi Corazon.
And then there’s another spread from the ‘Chronicles’ art journal that I like to show. This page is from the week I celebrated my birthday and I added the postcards I received to the page.

Love these play on words Marit! And yes, we’ve had our first rains so the mushrooms have arrived and I want to shrink to their size and walk through them all… I will look for those tiny towns you speak of! Lots of love to you my dear friend. XO

Hello, Marit. What a charming image to capture and inspire into verse on a bird’s song.
