This Wednesday post is a bit different than the usual ‘woyww’ posts… for one: it will be the last desk-photo-post of this year because next week this blog will be filled with Top 2000 art and next: I did not make a photo of my workspace but photographed the diner table yesterday. I thought of skipping the weekly woyww-bloghop ’cause with the Top 2000 event almost starting (see info page in the top menu of this blog) I will not have time to visit the other participants, but I decided to still add my name to the list on Julia’s blog because I want to wish all my fellow-woyww-crafters nice holidays and a fantastic New Year!
On to the photo’s then…
Reasons to be cheerful:
* The Eucalyptus branches that I added to my sparkling Christmas branches make this small but festive corner in the living room extra festive (and it smells good!)
* The Top 2000 list was announced and I am busy preparing for this event – picking songs to create with and getting my blog ready
* My mum gave me a bunch of postal stamps so last minute, I decided to create X-mas/Holiday cards. It took me three days, but they’re in the mail now. YAY!
* I found inspiration on Willy Duit’s blog (thanks Willy!!) and created these little cards/ornaments to send to friends and family.
When closed, this small card/ornament measures 3 x 3 cm (1.2 x 1.2 inch)
It becomes a star-hanger (6 cm = 2.5 inch) when you open it.
Ain’t it sweet?!
Another reason to be cheerful:
* My sister in law in Canada received the package I send her and is very happy with the journal I made for her.
Journal for SIL Yvonne – front cover
Journal for SIL Yvonne – back cover
That’s it for today sweeties, (Top 2000) ‘duty is calling.’
You are invited to play along next week but if I don’t see you there, I wish all my fellow woyww-crafters
HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND A FABULOUS NEW YEAR
