Friday, ‘haiku my heart’ day!
Here’s for you, sweet friends!
..
merels zijn welkom
in mijn tuin, het hele jaar maar niet in juli |
I welcome blackbirds
in my garden all year long but not in July |
Edit:
I have to set something straight here… too many of you
comment, thinking I made this last photo too.ย I didn’t!
That’s why it hasn’t my name on it, but I guess that
wasn’t enough. I found this pic on the Internet a year ago,
and could not find the name of the photographer anymore.
I should have mentioned that by saying: photographer unknown.

Love, love, love. I can’t believe you captured that last photo. You must have a wonderful camera and obviously you are shooting with the artists eye. Like humans, the earth’s creatures follow their basic needs — in spite of us.
deb christensen says
wow. you can step outside and pick grapes in your yard. that boggles my mind. grapes cost almost $5.00 a pound here right now!
good thing that bird doesn’t live on kodiak!!! i’ll be gone until late october my sea loving friend, so take care and i look forward to catching up with you when i return!
miss pie says
that is hilarious… blackbirds are so persistent… and can be so very aggressive… i laugh because where i walk it is like they sit and wait for me to pass by and then take pot shots diving and swaying just above my head..
Daniella says
Hello my sweet friend!
Thank you for your comment on my cabinet!
I think I must email you soon. It is too long since we “chatted”.!!!
Your so funny! I hate when the black birds come here. They think they can eat the dried corn I put out for the squirrels! They are crazy!
Miss you!!
