Ah good to see you back and am sure the time spent with family friends worthy occupations in every way, esp the painting with dad on a dyke, how utterly wonderful. A memory to treasure forever. Dear Marit I see no laziness amongst your past few weeks but enjoyment of socialising and sharing time with others, it is impossible for us to be in every place we wish to at once. We have to share our time and Summer always gives us the energy to do these things, no guilt just enjoy.
Super chronicles, I must try this one day.
Isn’t it funny when we look back at old photographs and can see and at times still feel the insecurities we had back then. A very happy & Beautiful photograph.

You really are super busy and I think just a couple of weeks behind on the chronicles is OK, it’s fascinating that you can ‘see’ the time spent on each page…I wonder if you’ll see it so clearly in ten years when you look back!

Well hello there you stunner you. Yes you were (and I still think you are) a good looker. I only need to look at last year’s photos to see the change in me, shows what pain does to one. Anyway, enough of that. Love your chronicle pages, I don’t think attention to background matters too much with your chronicles as the content is so super and if I could understand Dutch, interesting no doubt. I just love seing all the pictures you choose to illustrate your work.
If I had a choice between blogging and sketching with my dad sat on a dyke I know which I would choose – the same as you Enjoy whilst you can.

Hi Marit, I feel I may have made you think I am more tidy than is true. The ribbons came with those boxes the rest of my collection is scrambled in a box some where, what a con ha!ha!
