Do you know this painting by Monet?
It’s called “Impression, soleil levant” (“Impression, sunrise”) and this was the painting the art-movement was named after. My friend made a photo last week that reminded me of this painting and I choose that photo to write a haiku

I submit this haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share a haiku on Friday: Haiku my Heart
Gelli-print cards
It had been a while, but last week I got out my gelli-plate and spend two afternoons ‘mono-printing.’ I created a whole bunch of lovely prints to make cards with.
These were send to my daughter-in-law and my mum.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today, enjoy your weekend!

Amazing how the photo and Monet’s painting resemble each other. And your haiku is lovely! There is softness and tenderness there! Thank you!

Wat actief om zoveel mono-prints te maken en dan die mooie kleuren!
Vooral de rechter doet me aan Monet denken, maar dat zal geen toeval zijn….

Isn’t it amazing when we see something in nature that reminds us of a famous painting?
