Friday haiku: mussel

March 26, 2021 By Marit 6 Comments

Goodmorning dear ones, how are you doing? Are you fedd up with the Corona virus, lockdowns and distancing rules? Go out and find the beauty in little things. It helps.

Friday haiku

eenzame mossel
in parelmoer zonlicht heeft
genoeg aan zichzelf
lonely mussel shell
in early pearl sunlight is
enough on its own

The photo is taken by Lena Schreijenberg

I submit this haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share a haiku on Friday: Haiku my Heart

And here’s another art journal spread. Yes, focus on the eye… I am diagnosed with acute cataracts but it will be solved in a few weeks. I can still see the beauty of the world though… I still see YOU!

The Chronicles of Marit 2021 – Week 9

Thanks for your visit, look for little things and enjoy the sunlight today!

Hi Marit, yes! There is so much beauty to be found in the smallest of things and the most unusual places. There is always beauty here with you and Lena sending all the best for your eye adjustment and gratitude for all that you share with us! A big hug to you my friend!

lena’s photograph is gorgeous! the way it catches the yellow light-and your haiku is a wondrous reminder that the simple things are enough. i’ve discovered that i am happy staying home -it is peaceful and quiet and there is room between all the moments that comprise a day to feel deeply and be grateful.
