Since 2018 I use photos taken by my friend Lena to write a Friday haiku with. Lena goes for long walks a few times a week and publishes her photos on her Facebook page. It’s fun to flip through the photos she made and choose one that gets my eye and triggers a haiku. Last week, however, we went for a walk TOGETHER and I could see with my own eyes how she works. I took out my own camera and made a photo of her making a photo…. here’s my friend the photographer at work!
Friday haiku
De fotograaf ziet alles toch net iets anders dan dat wij dat doen |
The photographer sees things slightly different than normal people do |
… and here’s the photo she took right at that moment
I submit this haiku to Haiku my Heart
Thanks for stopping by,

Photographers are an interesting bunch of people, aren’t they? I’m thankful for the images they share with the world.

I love that you were both able to be together and being able to see what you each were seeing at the same time! Thank you for the beauty you both share here each week. The weaving of your friendship and artistry!

Photographers fascinate me. What would our world be without their work? That’s a very pleasant capture. I would love to swing on that branch and fall to the water. Fun!
