while a week of important mother care has me arriving very late-how timely to see your storm. so indicative of the unrest here in america while we watch each new uptick in the voting count. i sense the world waits and watches too. that so many-after four hate filled disrupted years cast a vote for 45 is mind numbing. it shows how divided and polarized our country truly is. we have so much healing to do!

I so love, Marit, the way in which you use your journal to turn so many aspects of life into art; these three amazing spreads being perfect examples! Taking whatever is going on in your life, or in the world, at the moment and distilling into writing, color, shape, form and texture on the page would seem to lend a calming, almost meditative effect to your creative process. Add to that the incredible way in which you integrate these disparate elements to create wonderfully unified, stellar compositions and I find myself visually enchanted with these journal pages which come from and speak to life.
