thank you for sharing such a lovely collection of memories… you certainly have been busy over the years 🙂

I also chose a word this year instead of a resolution (which I never keep).. my word is BETTER. It started as a focus for my health.. to get better.. but then I realised that I wanted to do things better, craft better, love better, be better.. and it all came from that 🙂

Thanks for your comment Margaret. The tradition of choosing “One Little Word” (or OLW) instead of making resolutions at the beginning of a year first started years ago (I don’t know when exactly) with Ali Edwards, a well known scrapbooker. She inspired a lot of people who follow the ‘One Little Word’ tradition now. The idea is to choose one word to symbolize the intention you have for the new year. Just one little word that you can focus on, mediate on and reflect upon. A word to use as a touchstone You can find more info on Ali’s website here: http://aliedwards.com/

O wat zou ik graag even lekker komen bladeren en rondsnuffelen in die grote stapel. En je even kietelen onder je zwarte kousevoeten zodat die LACH er ook meteen is. Ik lach je in elk geval vast breed toe!
