It’s Sunday morning when I write this but I will schedule this blogpost for Wednesday so HI JULIA, HI DESKERS!!! I’m back this week to share my work desk and give you an update about my life and art. It’s about time, you’d say… I know, I know, but I still have my job at the Zeeuws Archief (where I work in the restoration studio now, my contract was extended until the end of the year) which leaves me with “only” four days a week to spend on my beloved, my household and my art. Posting photos of my desk should be possible every week still, but I usually don’t have time left to visit all you deskers in return and that wouldn’t be fair, now would it? So I blog on Fridays to show my latest art.
However, last Friday my blogpost was all about my Nefarious plans (most interesting for Dutchies but if you’re curious too, click the link) – so I thought I’d insert this extra ‘Wednesday blogpost’ to show my latest art journal spreads. I should be able to visit everyone who comments back this week… so here we go…
Yes, a scrapbook layout! I still make those from time to time and I found two lovely challenges on line that made me start… you can probably guess one of the challenges “use polka dots.” (The other one is to scrap a life changing moment…) I hope to work on this some more today, but the deadline isn’t until the end of the month so there’s no hurry.
And there’s three Chronicles spreads/weeks to show – however busy I may be, I always keep my Chronicles art journal going…
The Chronicles of Marit 2020 – Week 7
The Chronicles of Marit 2020 – Week 8
The Chronicles of Marit 2020 – Week 9
Thanks for visiting my blog, nice to see you again! I’m curious to see what you, and the other deskers, are all up to – I do see some of you posting on Facebook but I look forward to visit your blogs! See you one of these days!

Hi Marit, lovely to see you back again. Sounds like you have a busy life so you do well to find time for making scrapbook pages as well as your chronicles. I scrolled down and was amazed at how many you were holding in the photograph. I like the polka dotted paper – dots are my favourite patterns. Have a good week. Elizabeth x #18

Hi Marit. I saw your message about the exploding box disappearing. Since you were last there we have replaced the roof in the area where the desk is and during that time I had to move everything and to be honest I have not found everything and one of them is the box. Hope you’re well too. Take care and hugs, Angela xxx
