Here’s a quick blog post for you because I have an appointment with my bathroom (I can hear him scream at the top of his lungs: “clean me, clean me…”) and several boxes (they scream even louder: “unpack me, sort me, organize me…”) However, this is not a short post! Instead of words, I let the photos speak. I got a request to show the tiny journals (and what’s in it) to my blog readers… so for all of you who want to have a closer look, here are the photos of the tiny (4 x 7 cm / 1.57 x 2.75 inch) ‘brown leather journal.’ Enjoy!
I finished yet other tiny journal and there is one ‘on the way’… I’ll show you photos of those some other time. For now, I’m off cleaning… have a nice day you all. Clean the bathroom (or create something beautiful instead!)

Marit your tiny journal is so gorgeous!!! You are inspiring me – I have some tiny journals that I have never done anything with. It might be time to start filling them! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Marit, I love the little tiny art journal you’ve made! I like the book structure also – it’s simple, but quite clever. Nice to keep the cover lining the same as the outside, when the book is so small.
You seem to have a strong theme of words as inspiration. I looked up that word “Luchtwortels” and my dictionary told me it means “aerial roots”… very intriguing! I love how you’ve used printing, doodling, words written onto the pages and a little bit of collage – also that great photo of the tall (standing?) stone, that you’ve mirrored with a piece of cardboard on the facing page.
Great little journal!
