I got the top book from my mum a couple of weeks ago (it’s actually two books, as you can see on the spines, together they make the full title.) I did not read it yet but I couldn’t help but notice that the title consisted of five syllables. So I searched my bookshelves to compose a book title haiku once again…

I love poetry.
I am especially fond of ‘found poetry’, and I mean found in all its forms… found in book titles, found in magazines, on book pages, cut out words and sentences – you name it. There is so much possible when it comes to ‘found poetry’… and this kind of poetry is also great to use on art journal pages also.

I therefore started FOUND POETRY FRIDAY – everyone is welcome to play along!

There is an “Inlinkz”-list at the end of this post. If you want to share your found poems, you are welcome to add your name to the list that will link us to your blogpost.

You can post your found poem on your own blog any time during the week, so you don’t have to make YOUR Fridays all about poetry – you just link us to the post that contains your poem. Please use the url that goes directly to you ‘found poetry post.’

I desperatly wanted to try and find a poem combining booktitles again – it has been too long since I did that – but I had a problem… after we moved houses, all of the books are still in boxes! We did not build up the bookcase yet so the books stayed unpacked… but you know me, I can’t do without books so I ‘beg, steal* and borrow’ books wherever I can. (* nope, I don’t do that… but it’s a saying, right… )

I have a few books laying in the window-sill, eight to be exactly, and can you believe it… with only that little amount of books I still managed to find a combination of titles that make a poem!!!
