<p><em>&#8220;Try to make a Friday haiku on this one 😆&#8221;</em></p>

<p>Now that I am writing a post, I take the opportunity to show you the next art journal spreads in my Grandes Chaleurs&#8221; journal (11.7 x 8.3″ &#8211; 29,5 x 21 cm).</p>
<p>I created this one back in February already but had not show it yet</p>
<p><strong>Grandes Chaleurs art journal: &#8220;this was personal&#8221; (Februari 2026)</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2026-02-GrandesChaleurs-thi.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-34465" src="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2026-02-GrandesChaleurs-thi.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="607" srcset="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2026-02-GrandesChaleurs-thi.jpg 900w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2026-02-GrandesChaleurs-thi-300x202.jpg 300w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/2026-02-GrandesChaleurs-thi-768x518.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></a></p>
<p>The first time back in my atelier; after weeks of stress, worry, sadness and grief over the death of my mother; I created this spread. (The poem on this spread is written by my mum, Johanna Kruit, who was a writer and poet.)</p>
