Oh yes, temperatures are high overhere so I found it appropriate to take a photo of the coolest little alley that can be found just around the corner of my house…. it’s an intriguing little alley/passage and my town has many of those back alleys, little gates and passages… I do love to wander through these back alleys. This one is called “Isabellagang” (Isabella-passage) and I wonder where that name came from… (I could not find the history of this alley and/or the name online but I’ll keep on looking.)

Wie was deze vrouw
dat zo’n donker gangetje
naar haar werd vernoemd?		 Who was this lady
to have such a dark passage
named after her?

If later today the temperature rises even higher, I consider to spend the rest of the day in this alley…  thanks for your visit and stay cool!
