I don’t have the energy anymore to write a long blogpost about the past weekend (I went to a Hobbybeurs / craft trade show) so I save that (and the photos) for Wednesday. Today I just share an art journal page I created for The Documented Life Project. I am two weeks behind with the challenges but I hope to get working on it soon…

DLP08-repeat

I cut up a photo from a magazine that shows a crowed. The ‘repeating’ element is in the photo already. I glued the strips to a black background… when I added glue to the strips I noticed the red lettering on the back and decided to paste a few strips showing the back of the page. The page looked a bit ‘flat’ so I sewed with red thread around the photo pieces and wrote a quote in the open space with puffy paint: “There is no footprint too small to leave an imprint on this world.”

Ok, that’s it for today. Time to get my ass out of the studio and into the kitchen to pour me a glass of wine 😉 Thanks for visiting my blog today dear ones, it’s much appreciated! See you on Wednesday.
