<p>Do those words ring a bell? A famous painting is called that way. I love that painting but most of all, I love that title. Whenever I see a pink-purple sky, those words come to mind.<br />
<a href="https://www.facebook.com/LenaSixLilies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lena Schreijenberg&#8217;s</a> photo reminded me of that title.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2019-11-01-rozevingerige-da.jpg"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26823" src="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2019-11-01-rozevingerige-da.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="506" srcset="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2019-11-01-rozevingerige-da.jpg 900w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2019-11-01-rozevingerige-da-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2019-11-01-rozevingerige-da-768x432.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></a></p>
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td valign="top" width="300">Rozevingerig,<br />
iets meer paars, wat minder geel<br />
maar toch: &#8216;de Kooning&#8217;</td>
<td valign="top" width="30"></td>
<td valign="top" width="300">Rosy fingered dawn.<br />
More purple, less yellow but<br />
still a &#8216;de Kooning&#8217;</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<p><em>I submit this haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share a haiku on Friday: <a href="https://corazon.typepad.com/recuerda_mi_corazon/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Haiku my Heart</a>.</em></p>
<p>For those who have never seen the painting: here it is: &#8220;<em>Rosy fingered dawn</em>&#8221; by <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willem_de_Kooning" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Willem de Kooning</a>.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/WillemdeKooning.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26824" src="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/WillemdeKooning.jpg" alt="" width="771" height="900" srcset="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/WillemdeKooning.jpg 771w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/WillemdeKooning-257x300.jpg 257w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/WillemdeKooning-768x896.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 771px) 100vw, 771px" /></a></p>
<p>And it is just a coincidence that my last art journal spread also shows yellow and purple&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>The Chronicles of Marit 2019 &#8211; Week 41<br />
</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2019-chronicles-week41.jpg"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26822" src="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2019-chronicles-week41.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="652" srcset="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2019-chronicles-week41.jpg 900w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2019-chronicles-week41-300x217.jpg 300w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/2019-chronicles-week41-768x556.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></a></p>
<p>And that&#8217;s it for today&#8230; not a long blogpost &#8217;cause my son and his girlfriend are coming over this weekend and there&#8217;s some things that need to be done this morning &#8211; some housekeeping (make the beds!) grocery shopping &#8211; and I&#8217;ve planned some atelier-me-time this afternoon before they arrive.</p>
<p>It looks like it&#8217;s going to be a nice weekend, I hope yours will be nice too.</p>
<p>Je t&#8217;embrasse</p>
