First: here’s my desk this morning.

WOYWW #452

That’s the last spread in my ‘Chronicles’ Art journal you see on the desk. I always have blank pages left at the end of each year, after filling the journal with 52 weekly spreads (due to the binding and the number of signatures – do the math 😉 ) and when I came across the idea of ‘A Year in Pixels’ I thought it would be neat to draw a grid on that page and fill it in day by day.

It will be a one-year-thing, I will finish this project of course but I can tell already that I won’t repeat it next year. I bump onto problems when I have to choose the color of the day – my day’s don’t have ‘one emotion’ – what to do with a beautiful but exhausting day? Do I color that yellow or green? However, if you would like to check this ‘project’ out just google ‘Year in Pixels’. There’s lot of examples out there!

Just like I thought – it’s now 12.07 – Wednesday afternoon.
I have two more art journal spreads to show and I’ll post the images without explanation. Just the title. The interpretation is all up to you.
