<p>Another Wednesday&#8230; time flies! I spend quite some days in my studio working on all kinds of things, you&#8217;ll see some of it laying on my desk in my &#8216;woyww&#8217; photo at the end of this post.</p>
<p>But first&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>Golden Oldie</strong></p>
<p>Yes, I opened up one of my old scrapbook albums again.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/albums.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-10867 aligncenter" title="albums" src="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/albums.jpg" alt="" width="852" height="725" srcset="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/albums.jpg 852w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/albums-300x255.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 852px) 100vw, 852px" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://jeanetk.blogspot.nl/" target="_blank"> Jeanet</a> requested I&#8217;d open album 1 and show layout 13&#8230;</p>
<p>and look what was stuck in the protective sleeve there&#8230; hahaaa&#8230; Jeanet picked an &#8216;oldie&#8217; that handles and even older &#8216;oldie&#8217;&#8230; this layout is about my school calendars and how I used them as a &#8211; what we would now call &#8211; art journal. Oh, those quotes and phrases you (I) jotted down on these pages &#8211; it has me in stitches reading it now!</p>
<p>The title of this layout says it all:  &#8220;He said HI&#8221;</p>
<p>Remember? Boys you had a secret crush on who suddenly noticed you and said &#8216;hi&#8217;?<br />
OHMY.. occurrences like that made my day (week!) back then. It increased the doodling (mostly hearts, of course) in my school calendar and the writing (uhm, swooning) in my diary at home.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><a href="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/retro.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-12057" title="retro" src="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/retro.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="896" srcset="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/retro.jpg 900w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/retro-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/retro-300x298.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></a></p>
<p>In <a href="http://www.maritspaperworld.com/old-blog/?p=1842" target="_blank">this old post</a> you can see more detail photos of this layout and some explanation how I made the title and what&#8217;s on the hidden journaling.</p>
<p><em><strong>Do you like to see more &#8216;golden oldies&#8217;??? </strong></em><br />
<em><strong>Then leave me a comment saying which album I should open next week and which layout you want me to show&#8230; numbers please!</strong></em></p>
<p><strong>WOYWW #196</strong></p>
<p><strong>W</strong>hat&#8217;s <strong>O</strong>n <strong>Y</strong>our <strong>W</strong>orkdesk <strong>W</strong>ednesday is hosted by Julia from the <a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.nl/2013/03/whats-on-your-workdesk-wednesday-196.html" target="_blank">StampingGround</a>. If you would like to take a trip around the world to see other people&#8217;s creative spaces then pop on over to Julia&#8217;s blog to find the list of participants or, even better, join the weekly gathering and share a photo of your own work desks. Here&#8217;s mine.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/woyww196.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-12058" title="woyww#196" src="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/woyww196.jpg" alt="" width="1000" height="602" srcset="https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/woyww196.jpg 1000w, https://www.maritspaperworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/woyww196-300x180.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></a></p>
<p>I have to explain something to the English speaking amongst you: my new project is called &#8216;Schrijven Over Schrijvers&#8217; which means both &#8220;Writing Over Writers&#8221; as &#8220;Writing About Writers&#8221; (the word &#8216;over&#8217; in Dutch has both meanings.) I&#8217;m pretty excited about this little project.</p>
<p>I hope you all have exciting projects on your hands too, thanks for taking the time to stop by at my blog today!</p>
