Thanks everyone, for the nice compliments about my newly-designed website (for the ones who haven’t seen it yet: I re-newed and re-designed my website. I also transfered the ‘about’ page, other information and the photoalbums with my art work from my blog to my website.)
Today is Wednesdays and you know what that means: ‘Tales from the Studio’ – including a photo of my workdesk.
Let’s start with a photo from my desk and how it lays waiting for me this morning…
(“why a picture of your desk” you may ask? That’s because of Julia from Stamping Ground.

Some may remember the ‘Grid journal’ that lays on my desk today (all posts are in this category) but it’s been almost a year since I worked in it. This little journal, however, is my ‘go to’ when I’m about to loose my Mojo and because that feeling was creeping on to me last Monday, I pulled out the journal and started cutting out random pictures (‘eyes’) to keep that little devil at a distance. I think it worked!
Six weeks passed since 2014 started. This new year is on it’s way… and so is my Chronicles art journal. Here are the pages from the first weeks:
The Chronicles of Marit 2014 – Week 1
The Chronicles of Marit 2014 – Week 2
The Chronicles of Marit 2014 – Week 3
… and that’s it for today folks. The sun is coming out just as I type this and I am longing for some fresh air… a long walk in nature is what I can do with so I’m outta here. Enjoy your day!
We love the way you’ve captioned everything on your desk. Great journal pages too.

Hello, lovely to visit your desk this morning (and thank you for visiting mine). Loving your art work. I’ve just been for a walk, gorgeous blue skies and crisp air in Yorkshire this morning, hope you manage to get out and enjoy some fresh air too!
What lovely pages. Happy WOYWW!

Hi Marit – love your journal pages and the neatly annotated Desk shot! Hope you are having fun in the fresh air. I am off for a walk now too – we are calling in at the chip shop so we can eat a late lunch by the river. May treat Comet (our dog) to a sausage!!! Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 84
Your pages are wonderful. #1
Hi Marit, it has been an age since I caught up with you but I can see your Chronicles of Marit are well under way. Glad you managed to keep your mojo firmly in hand, a creative slump can be really hard to get out of. Hope you are well. MMx #57
You are so organized – I love it! I am all crazy about the organization even when my stuff is all over the place.. lol
How weirdly coincidental! I just started a journaling project called Chronicles. I thought I was being so unique but have come across the same name in three different places now.. haha! Great minds!!
Love your journal pages. Karen#101
Those are some great journal pages, and I love your busy desk!
Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and for the nice comments.
Happy Woyww,

Marit, good to see you. Love the Chronicles of Marit, they are absolutely gorgeous. Only the other day I had a visitor who asked me about the beautiful birthday card you sent me. I sent them to your beautiful blog. Cx #28
