The BIG Road Trip ~ New Jersey 2

March 18, 2013 By Marit 6 Comments

If you’re new to The BIG Road Trip – all the information can be found on this page. Curious how this series came about? Find the ‘why’ in this first announcement post. All BIG Road Trip posts can be found archived here. If you want to submit a guest post about your state, or if you want to share state-related art, stories, inspiration or links, email me at bigroadtrip[at]maritspaperworld[dot]com

Hmmm, New Jersey does not seem to inspire you, is it?
How come?
There’s the sea… there’s the boardwalk…
you could have made something like this.

I am inspired by the sea all the time…
I have plenty of ‘ocean inspired’ art pieces that I could show you.
Like this one

and one more …

Nout  submitted some photos that he took in New Jersey, but he stated that “I was there only for a short time, there isn’t much in NJ.”

Well, how about the music then – Bruce? Bon Jovi?

These following pieces were made by different artists, inspired by music and submitted for my Top 2000 blog series over the past years. (Info on the top 2000 blog series HERE)

Bon Jovi – It’s My Live
Made by Maja

Bon Jovi – Bed Of Roses
Made by Sandra

Bruce Springsteen – Hungry Heart
Made by Carla

Well… and that’s about all there was to tell about New Jersey.

Oh, wait… I forget the fact that Julie Tucker-Wolek commented on the former post saying
“I loveeeeeeeeeeeee NJ!! But you forgot to mention Wa-Wa’s!! LOL!!! 🙂 ”

Wa-Wa’s???
I had no idea what she was talking about, but I found it on Wikipedia.

March 22:
Pat from “Altering Thoughts” wrote a blogpost about New Jersey following the BIG Road Trip. Thanks Pat!

Next week I will be on my way again and visit Delaware… is that yet another state ‘where nothing happens’?? Are there any artists in Delaware that want to host and be our guide – or do I have to read one of those boring tourist guide books?

If you are a resident of Delaware (or Maryland – which comes next) and willing to write a guest-post about ‘your state’, please contact me at bigroadtrip[at]maritspaperworld[dot]com.

You can find all the info about The BIG Road Trip blog series HERE.

Mooie stops op je reis! Niks in New Jersey?
