Hi there lovely ones, goodmorning! Wednesday, another week gone and it just flew by… I started visiting the other deskers last week but didn’t get far, sorry if you commented on my blogpost last week and I didn’t visit you back, I’ll try to make it up to you all this week!
So… what’s on my desk this morning? Take a look…
There’s the usual ‘junk’ (tools and materials) and a strip of folded paper which will turn into a tiny journal eventually. To the left is a ‘growing’ spread… there’s a 14-day challenge going on at the “Dutch collage” facebook group, posting a daily ‘task’ to put on the spread. Today’s ‘challenge’ is to add letters and/or numbers.
I’m all into ‘challenges’ lately – you saw me starting a scrapbook layout last week with the theme “Love” and here’s the finished piece.
I used gesso, a stencil, old dictionary paper, a bit of spray ink and my sewing machine. Here’s some details:
Title: “Samen” (together)
The page I used underneath the photo is from a Dutch-English dictionary
Today, a sketch was posted in the Scrapbooking group and I might create another layout as it was fun to work on this for a change – but I can also decide to dive into the tiny journals or collage-making and I should do some housekeeping too… but as long as I stay put at my desk and don’t walk through the aparment, the dust-clouds won’t wirl around so vacuuming can wait…
I hope your day is filled with creativeness too. Enjoy!

What a fabulous LO you have there. Such a lovely photo too. I like all the space you have left, making the image the focal point with just the right amount of decoration around it. I really must try stitching on some card,be it an actual card, journal page or something else.
Interesting desk – the mini book is very long, lots of stamping?
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

Hi Marit, That is a beautifully put together layout. Empty space is far more effective than covering every inch, which is what I tend to do. I will remember this for my next layouts. Have a lovely week Heather x #17
