What’s on my desk today (woyww #508)

February 27, 2019 By Marit 16 Comments

Goodmorning lovelies.
The sun is shining (again!)
The laundry is spinning around in the washing machine.
Joe Cocker sings a song on the radio: “Feelin’ Alright”
and that’s the promise this day brings… feelin’ alright!

There’s beauty on my desk today…

WOYWW #508

… and I’m pretty satisfied with my last art journal spread

The Chronicles of Marit 2019 – Week 7

So what are my plans?

Take a shower and get dressed (yup, I’m still in my pj’s)
Drink another cup of coffee.
Wait for the laundry to be ready so I can hang it outside in that Spring-breeze.
Go for a walk in the sun and take the camera with me.
Select the photos so I can take you with me on my walk throught the neigbourhood in my next blogpost.

Is that a plan, or what?

Hope your day is lovely too.
Go make something out of it
make it Feelin’ alright!

P.S. The finished scrap layout that I was working on last week is in this post

It certainly is a beautiful day to be enjoyed.. washing already out getting ready to have a proper play day. The first for a couple of weeks. Enjoy that outdoor air Marit. Your desk is full of inspiration for you upon your return.

I knew I liked you Marit but the fact that you like Joe Cocker has sealed the deal!! I love him too – Unchain my Heart is one of my top 10 songs, his voice is brilliant. And I have washing in the machine too, making the most of this last day of sunshine for a while. Loving your work as always!

It’s a beautiful day here too but I’m working so can’t get out for a walk. I’ve used my time well so far though and have done all my ironing and the next load is washed ready for drying. Doesn’t the sunshine do us all good?

Marit that sounds like my kind of plan, enjoy the sunshine while you can.
I love the journal page and the one on your desk too, I really should get back to mine, I think I’ve only done two pages in years.
Have a great week, hope the spring weather keeps up

Your plan for the day sounds wonderful. Glad you still have the sunshine.
That is a great journal page Marit, I love how you journal – there is a certain flair about the way you do it – something I don’t seem to be able to master.
    Have a good day.
