I’m in awe that your teeny, medium and other journal size artwork is translating to canvas sizes..you are so flexible an artist! I am not in a position to offer any advice or critique, I can’t tell when something is finished or not! But does it help if I say that I really like it and I immediately though of two moons? However long Ive looked at it, I don’t see your man…which goes to show how we all interpret so differently!

Thank you for showing your canvases. The ‘messy’ one I would leave as is. You might see a man and other people might see something else. It’s finished. Lucy in the sky is great. What does your hubby think of that one in the living room?

Hi Marit, here I am. Love your desk because there’s always lots going on. I have been working in my one Journal for ages and really need to start another one so that I organise projects better.
I love the canvas as it is, the man fading into the background gives the work an “air of mystery”.
It reminds me of those long hazy days which I am sorry…. you are not getting!

Hi Marit, thanks for popping over and showing us the labelled desk, love all the deets.
Mm my option re canvas, yes hubby is right it is messy, but it s creative messy, I like it better than the booth one and can see a forest of birch trees on the left bottom and a purple lake next to it, with two blue Suns or moons, take your pick.. So leave as it is.. I also can see part of ladies face in the birch trees.
Art is such a personal thing and I reckon hubby would find it grows on him… If given a chance. 🙂

I actually like the textures and the feeling of an inner light emerging through the bubble shapes in the abstract painting. I like the collage to, with its sense of adventure. Blessings!

Hi Marit, thanks for sharing your lovely art! You asked for a comment on your “messy” canvas. I love the richness and the texture, fabulous. I also like the blue “suns” interacting with the blue part in the middle, but I would take some sandpaper and soften the edges and break this strong black shading. Well, you asked for it – but it is hard giving advices without seeing the original. There are always so many possibilities… Keep it as an abstract, the texture is so nice!
