I felt pretty good and satisfied<br \/>\nabout the work I&#8217;d done and I made time to relax and\u00a0 read (since I picked up<br \/>\na book after a long time of non-reading\u00a0 &#8211; see<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/?p=1380\" target=\"_blank\"> this post<\/a> &#8211; I&#8217;m hooked again!)<\/p>\n<p>But of course there&#8217;s not a day that goes by without creating something &#8211;<br \/>\nanything!<\/p>\n<p><em>(Remember you can click on the images to enlarge, for a better view)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>You already expected to see my &#8216;week-page&#8217;, didn&#8217;t ya?<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Chronicles of Marit 2011 &#8211; Week 16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/01-week16.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1682\" title=\"01-week16\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/01-week16.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"950\" height=\"724\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/01-week16.jpg 950w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/01-week16-300x228.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Monday, my beloved and I drove home from Zeeland (where we visited my<br \/>\nfriend Lena) The sun was shining and my &#8216;hometown&#8217; landscape was beautiful!<br \/>\nGreen fields, flowering orchards and lambs in the meadows&#8230; I started my<br \/>\nweekly page with painting the background in that fresh &#8216;Spring-green&#8217; colour<br \/>\nand added images from Zeeland (cut a map in circles, and used an image from<br \/>\na brochure)<\/p>\n<p>There are plans cooking in my head&#8230; my mind ran over last week and I<br \/>\njotted it all down. The ideas are still in an early stage (but steadily growing!)<br \/>\nso I blurred the texts. Sorry, but it&#8217;s too early to tell you anything!<\/p>\n<p>While working on my journal page, I used the left over paint and<br \/>\nscraps of paper to make two ATC&#8217;s for <a href=\"http:\/\/songsinmyheartblog.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Songs in my heART<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The song: <strong>I am a Rock <\/strong>by<strong> Paul Simon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/02-i-am-a-rock.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1683\" title=\"02-i-am-a-rock\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/02-i-am-a-rock.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"755\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/02-i-am-a-rock.jpg 755w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/02-i-am-a-rock-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 755px) 100vw, 755px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The circle\/stone &#8211; idea was inspired by my journal page I was working on<br \/>\n\u00e1nd by Teesha Moore, who makes &#8216;stacks of rocks&#8217; (cairns) in real life as well<br \/>\nas on her journal pages. Read her post about it <a href=\"http:\/\/teeshascircus.blogspot.com\/2011\/02\/cairns-of-color.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A few weeks ago, I was flipping through a magazine looking for a certain image,<br \/>\nwhen I came across a beautiful photo &#8211; if I remember correctly it was taken at<br \/>\nsome sort of Hindu-festival in India, where the people throw coloured powder<br \/>\nat each other. I couldn&#8217;t use the image at that moment, but tore it out and glued<br \/>\nit onto a new page. I recommend this way of working! Just glue down images<br \/>\nthat speak to you, and work on the page later. Don&#8217;t fall for it!!! Keep on enjoying and loving the process<br \/>\ninstead of becoming a &#8216;creating machine&#8217;.
