In my former post, I showed you all the things I bought on Queen’s day.
\nAt least I thought I did…<\/p>\n

HA! Was I wrong!
\nI realized later that I bought even more then the books and magazines
\nI showed, but since I already stored those things I completely forgot
\nabout it. Can you believe that?!<\/p>\n

So here’s more ‘Queen’s day stuff’…<\/p>\n

I bought three old record-albums, but I didn’t choose them because of
\nthe music! You should have seen the look on the guys face, when he asked
\nme what music I was looking for and I told him I was looking for nice
\nalbum covers, and didn’t mind the music. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

I love, love, LOVE this album cover.<\/p>\n

The seventies look of it, the colours, the title…
\nMy beloved said it’s a good band too: ‘Humble Pie’
\nI wouldn’t know, but let him have the record while I keep the sleeve!<\/p>\n

It was a bit hard to take a good photo of this album sleeve.
\nThe silver and pink are fluorescent (see that Lena!) and I fell head over heels
\nfor that image! The colours are way out of my comfort zone, but the seventies
\nfeel to it did the trick.<\/p>\n

I know, I know…. Eeeckkk… it’s a James Last record!
\n(I will cover that name somehow… don’t know how yet but ideas will come
\nin time – I hope)<\/p>\n

I’m planning to make very special, folding art journals with the covers.
\n(Saw something like it here<\/a> at Teesha Moore’s blog – mine will be a lot bigger
\nsince the size of the sleeves is 12 x 12))<\/p>\n

And how could I forget to show you this sweetie..<\/p>\n

Yep, it’s a stamp!
\nYou can put the tiny, little letters on to the holder and make 5 lines of text.
\nIt’s a bit hard to explain – the ‘holder’ part rotates while you stamp. KWIM?
\nIt came with two boxes of alpha’s.<\/p>\n

I will need tweezers to put these tiny stamps in the holder!<\/p>\n

Nothing more to show you today.
\nI did plan some creative time this week, but I suffered from head aches
\nin the last two days. Whenever I took an aspirin, the pain would be lesser,
\nbut it never went away completely and came back just as hard.
\nNo art journaling for me. No nothing, really…<\/p>\n

So Petra, here’s your answer to your question: “Are you really creative
\nevery day? Do you ever suffer from a “dip”?<\/em>
\nYes, I have creative ‘dips’ sometime – and not only because of a head ache –
\nbut over all, I try to do something creative every day.
\nSometimes, it’s only painting a background or adding a little something to one
\nof my page. Other days, I spend hours on my art journals.
\nIt depends on other obligations I have – and how dirty the house is \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

I hope the weekend will be a head ache free one, because the weather will be
\ngorgeous (Summer temperatures!) and I have planned some nice things!
\nKeep your fingers crossed…<\/p>\n
