It’s here again: the Quirky Dutch Summer blog series! You may recall the inspiring Summer series blogposts that I posted in 2012<\/a>? During that Summer, I published a special inspirational post every week. Posts filled with inspiration and short tutorials, so that you could keep the creativity flowing during the Summer months. Now the series is back, and how!!! I brought in extra creative troops to help me write the Quirky posts so this Summer you will be served with even more inspiration!<\/p>\n

Quirky blogposts<\/strong>
\nStarting on June 15, there will appear a special post on my blog and this series goes on until half of August. Ten weeks, ten posts that are like the Dutch Summer itself: quirky! You know how Dutch summers are: one day it is hot and the next day the wind blows. One day you go to the beach, the next day the weather is perfect for a city trip or you feel for a visit at the museum. The Quirky series is just as erratic. There is no build-up line in the posts. There will be only one general theme: inspiration! The posts can focus on a certain technique, handle a certain topic but you will also find fully elaborated tutorials! You can basically just see the series as a free – 10 week – ‘summer art school’.<\/p>\n

Play along<\/strong>
\nThere will be a link list at the end of each post. If you create something inspired by a certain post, you can leave your name in the list and link us to your work. You can also share your work in the special Quirky Facebook group<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Guestposts: inspiring artists<\/strong>
\nI am not writing all of the Quirky series posts myself. I mobilized a number of fantastic artists who are eager to add an inspiring blog post to the Quirky Summer series. Every artist brings in her own style. Ain’t that something?! These artists will offer you major inspiration this Summer:<\/p>\n

\nThe ‘ Quirky posts’ will be posted both in English and in Dutch. English guestposts will be translated into Dutch. Dutchies: this is your chance to read posts and tutorials from your favorite artists in your own language!<\/p>\n

So: spread the word! Copy the badge (in the side menu on my blog) and share it on your blog. Get the word out on social media.<\/p>\n

Hij is er weer: de Quirky Dutch Summer blogserie! Misschien herinneren jullie de inspirerende zomerserie blogposts nog? Elke week een blogpost vol inspiratie en korte tutorials zodat je ook in de zomermaanden de creatieve stroom op gang kon houden. De Quirky Dutch Summer serie<\/a> verscheen in 2012 op mijn blog. Nu is de serie terug, en hoe!!! Ik heb namelijk wat extra hulptroepen weten te mobiliseren om jullie n\u00f3g meer inspiratie te kunnen voorschotelen. Lees vooral verder….<\/p>\n

Grillige blogposts<\/strong>
\nVanaf 15 juni zal er gedurende tien weken elke maandag een inspirerende post op mijn blog verschijnen. De posts zullen zijn zoals de Nederlandse zomers: grillig! De ene dag is het warm de volgende dag zakt de temperatuur. De ene dag zit je op het strand, de andere dag bezoek je liever een stadje of museum… De ‘Quirky’ serie is al net zo grillig. Er zit geen lijn in de posts – er is maar \u00e9\u00e9n overkoepelend thema: creativiteit! De post kan dus in het teken staan van een thema. Of en korte uitleg van een bepaalde techniek bevatten. Maar je zult ook volledig uitgewerkte tutorials vinden! Je kunt de serie eigenlijk gewoon zien als een gratis – 10 weken durende – ‘zomercursus’.<\/p>\n

Meespelen<\/strong>
\nOnder iedere blogpost komt een ‘link-lijst’ te staan. Mocht je aan de slag gaan met (\u00e9\u00e9n van de) inspiratie-posts, dan kun je dat laten weten door je naam aan de link-lijst toe te voegen en ons zo doorlinken naar je werk maar je kunt je werk ook delen in de ‘Quirky Facebook groep’<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gast- posts\/-kunstenaars<\/strong>
\nHet mooie is: die inspirerende ‘Quirky posts’ ga ik niet alleen schrijven! Ik heb een aantal geweldige kunstenaars weten te strikken die staan te popelen om een inspirerende blogpost aan de Quirky Summer serie toe te voegen. Iedere kunstenaar brengt haar eigen stijl mee, dus er zit zeker voor ieder wat wils bij. Kijk maar eens wie je als gast kunt verwachten:<\/p>\n
