A sunny morning in the Netherlands, it looks no-where to be December but it is. It is the month to get busy rounding off unfinished journals and projects. I just jotted down some dates and projects that I need to work on and taped that note to my window sill. Do you have any unfinished projects that you want to finish before the end of the year?<\/p>\n<p>Although those projects I want to work on are on my table (The Documented Life Project,) today I show you two pages from the big journal that I only just started: <em>Grandes Chaleurs <\/em>(spreads are 30,5 x 49 cm &#8211; 12 x 19 inch)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ohio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/GrandesChaleurs05-ohio.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19549\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/GrandesChaleurs05-ohio.jpg\" alt=\"GrandesChaleurs05-ohio\" width=\"800\" height=\"553\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cross-over<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/GrandesChaleurs06-cross-ove.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19550\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/GrandesChaleurs06-cross-ove.jpg\" alt=\"GrandesChaleurs06-cross-ove\" width=\"800\" height=\"552\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These spreads take several days from beginning to end, and sometimes even longer. There are lots of layers on these pages and I build up by adding something from time to time. The journal lies open on a side table in my atelier so I can look at it &#8211; and then suddenly I see what needs to be done on a page. Do you work that way or do you create one page from beginning to end? (I create in both ways, depending on the art journal and page I&#8217;m working on.. I also work in multiple journals at the same time which results in having similar colored pages\/styles in different journal.)<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for visiting my blog today.
