Last week was exceptional… the Netherlands and its inhabitants have never had such temperatures\u00a0 in September:\u00a0 32\u00b0C (90\u00b0F) It’s a record. Schools proclaimed a ‘tropical timetable’ so that kids could go home early in the afternoon to enjoy the Summer weather. For a middle-aged lady like me, staying in an apartment, the high temperatures weren’t always fun but living in a delta-area sure helps enlighten the heat-waves… I seeked the waterfront!<\/p>\n

My parents have a small camper and they picked me up twice last week to spend the day at the water. They lived in Zeeland their whole life and they know the most beautiful spots to spend the day… I took my drawing materials with me. What else can I say:<\/p>\n

The weather changed last night, Autumn arrived and I will get into my jeans and pull my cardigan out of the closet. I do like the change of seasons though and I especially love the Fall.<\/p>\n
