Good morning lovelies… Oops it’s noon, so it’s already good afternoon! I’m here on this gray day to show you my colorful desk and my even more colorful new art journal that I bound last week. I don’t need much words with the pictures so you put on your glasses if you need to (I know I do: the green ones that lay on my desk 😉 ) and take a look…

WOYWW #401

"woyww401"

(WOYWW stands for “Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday.” Our hostess Julia has all the info on her blog if you are new to this. You can visit HERE for the details.)

As I said, I bound a new art journal last week. All my journals have some sort of theme and I needed a new “Miscellaneous” journal since the last one (nr. 3) is full. So here’s my new journal Miscellaneous-4. (I took some extra photos while creating it.)

Finished journal: cover

"misc4-cover"

Not bound yet: front & cover

"misc4-voorenachter"

Not bound yet: inside cover & back

"misc4-binnenkant"

Spine (coptic binding)

"misc4-coptischebinding"

Spine – detail (I put washi tape on the folded signatures, doesn’t it look fabulous?)

"misc4-bindingdetail"

I was inspired to use Washi tape on the folded pages by a photo I saw on Pinterest. Yep – I finally gave in and am on Pinterest now…. I was afraid I would spend (too) much time there and that kept me from making an account, but I was too curious to stay away and I find I can control myself to spend limited time at that site. You can find me on Pinterest HERE.

Last but not least… if you like GIVEAWAYS I have good news for you. You find a GIVEAWAY in my former blogpost HERE

And that’s it for today folks.

Thanks for visiting, enjoy your week and if the sun is shining over at your place, please send some rays my way!
