Goodmorning sweeties… after I missed last week’s haiku post, I’m back today with something special to show you! But first, look at that photo my friend Lena took last week… a rare phenomenon; a whole bunch of jellyfish on the beach! These jellyfish form shoals not far from the coast, in shallow water. When a strong wind blows from the East (from the land-side) the top layer water flows away from the coast and the deeper water is sucked to the beach. This leads to a jellyfish invasion.<\/p>\n

I submit this haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share a haiku on Friday: Haiku my Heart<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

The pictures that inspire me to write a haiku with are, as you may know, made by my friend Lena. It was her birthday last week and what better to give than a special, handmade booklet with some or her photos and my haiku… it took me quite some time to get this booklet right but it was all worth it… it turned out wonderful – as I may say so myself – and Lena was very, VERY happy with this present I made for her. I made a short video to show it…<\/p>\n
