Days of rain, days of storm, days of sunshine… I saw it all last week ’cause the weather seemed to change by the hour and before I know it, it’s Friday again: haiku day. I choose this beautiful photo ~ made by my friend Lena Schreijenberg<\/a> ~ of an empty beach in the early morning, for my haiku.<\/p>\n

Friday haiku<\/strong><\/p>\n

rimpelend water
\nstroomt stilletjes richting zee
\nom terug te komen<\/td>\n		<\/td>\nwrinkling water
\nflows gently towards the sea
\nto return later<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

I submit this haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share a haiku on Friday: Haiku my Heart<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Some time ago I intended to create a scrapbook-layout more often, because it is so much fun to flip through the albums later and reminisce. I stick to that and created another lay-out last week, using two challenges to get me going.

The Dutch Dares scrapbooking group<\/a> on Facebook challenged me to use a BIG FONT TITLE<\/p>\n

and here’s what I created.<\/p>\n

The photos of me and my loved one were made by my son back in 2009. I used a stencil and olive-green acrylic paint for the background. The title is made with embossing powder and the phrase goes back twentytwo years and is some sort of a ‘between-us phrase’. It dates from the time my beloved and I’d just met. I think it was me who, when I caught him staring at me, said: ‘what?’ He answered ‘THAT!’ We still say ‘THAT’ to each other \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
