Weeks fly by, it feels like Spring outside but I won’t let the weather fool me: the nice weather will certainly turn and a period of cold, rain and wind will follow for sure. February fooled me before so I am prepared, ha!

However, the sunny weather inspired my friend Lena to take some very nice photos, even when she’s on her way to work she gets off her bike to shoot some pics… here’s the one I choose for today’s haiku

Friday haiku

Rechtbank reflectie

voor wie de wet overtreedt

dubbel ellende

Courthouse reflection

For the ones who break the law

double misery

The photo was taken by my friend Lena Schreijenberg

I submit this haiku to Recuerda Mi Corazon where our lovely hostess Rebecca brings us all together to share a haiku on Friday: Haiku my Heart.

Last week I created a little booklet for a collegue who celebrated her birthday. I don’t make these kind of booklets much, as the folding mechanism needs full focus to cut out and glue together… but the result is fabulous, don’t you think?!

February means that my online workshop is about to start. You can still join if you feel like diving into art journaling and let loose…

Online workshop “LET IT LOOSE”

This online workshop starts on February 20.

6 weeks – 12 lessons:

In English and Dutch: € 45.-

Now I can say that this workshop is awesome but that is not nearly as believable than when you hear (and see!) it from other people. Here are some examples of art created at this online workshop by former members of “Let It Loose”

""

More examples of art by Let it Loose participants can be found here

And here’s what former students say about the workshop:

“This has been the best experience…I have found another side to me that I didn’t know existed!!!! (…) I have also learned an important life lesson….I can let it loose….creating does not have to be that perfect, orderly art piece… it can be messy, have mistakes, and even not be the greatest…but it makes you HAPPY!!” ~ Jocelyn

“I had such a wonderful time with this workshop. I learned so much. I am still using all that I learned everywhere I go! Marit is a wonderful teacher, and she is offering this workshop again. I highly recommend it!!” ~ Danielle

“I don’t know if I could pick a favorite lesson. I think what I loved most about the class was the variety! Let it Loose has been such a fun and inspiring class! I highly recommend it – whether you have never tried art journaling, or you’ve been doing it for awhile. The lessons are fun and easy to follow, open enough for interpreting in your own style, and the atmosphere is super supportive!” ~ Michelle

“I’ve took a super cool art journal class with Marit – I wish I’d had teachers like her in school! When you visit her blog, check out her work – wow! If you have the chance to take a class with her – do it! You won’t regret it.” ~ Anne

Well… *blush*… I keep my mouth shut now 😉

DUTCH go HERE and ENGLISH go HERE for more info and registration.

Thanks for your visit, I really appreciate it!

Have a wonderful weekend.
