(For the<br \/>\ncurious ones: my prompts will be up in September and November)<\/p>\n<p>So I took my &#8216;A Year&#8230;&#8217; art journal and yep, I came across that unfinished<br \/>\n&#8216;thing&#8217; again. I almost flipped the page, but I can&#8217;t stand &#8216;unfinished bussiness&#8217;<br \/>\nso I hold still and looked at it for a while.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh eyes &#8211; and I suddenly knew what to do!<\/p>\n<p>The title of the prompt was &#8216;Broken&#8217;&#8230;<br \/>\nthis page was unfinished and &#8216;broken&#8217;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>So I &#8216;repaired&#8217; it!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/mamasarms01.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2889\" title=\"mamasarms01\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/mamasarms01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"950\" height=\"898\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/mamasarms01.jpg 950w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/mamasarms01-300x283.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<pre>(21 x 19,5 cm - 8.3 x 7.7 inch)<\/pre>\n<p>It still isn&#8217;t the best page I ever made, but it&#8217;s OK now.<br \/>\n(and yes, I finished the next one too. I&#8217;m more satisfied<br \/>\nabout that page but it won&#8217;t be online before July 30th)<\/p>\n<p>My son was here last week (he left last Friday for a holiday in Portugal)<br \/>\nand we took the opportunity to watch one documentary\/film each night<br \/>\nfrom his DVD box &#8216;The Blues&#8217; (Each movie is made by a different director,<br \/>\nScorsese, Eastwood etc. and handles a period or aspect of the blues)<\/p>\n<p>We also had the movie &#8216;Cadillac records&#8217; on DVD so we watched that too.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Cadillac Records is a 2008 musical biopic written and directed by<br \/>\nDarnell Martin. The film explores the musical era from the early 1940s<br \/>\nto the late 1960s, chronicling the life of the influential Chicago-based<br \/>\nrecord-company executive Leonard Chess, and the musicians who<br \/>\nrecorded for Chess Records&#8221; &#8211; Wikipedia &#8211;<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Being all into &#8216;the blues&#8217; last week, I couldn&#8217;t help that some things<br \/>\ncame straight on the weekly page of my chronicles.
