Don’t you just LOVE my title?
\nI’ll explain in a minute…<\/p>\n

Weird things happened this week. Strange vibes were in the air.
\nI didn’t really feel it, but when I visited a few blogs after finishing
\nsome (art)work I tumbled from one surprise into another!<\/p>\n

Nothing strange happened with this page (but you never know,
\nI became cautious!) I made this last weekend…<\/p>\n

It has been ages since I used my embossing tools, but I did on this page.

The above page was made in my Miscellaneous art journal.
\nI had not worked in this journal for a while, and when I flipped through the
\npages I came across this page I made a few Months earlier.<\/p>\n

I made this as an example for one of the prompts in Summercamp.
\nThe booktitles form a poem…<\/p>\n
‘My mother and I
\nTwo women
\nthinking about love and power’ <\/span><\/p>\n
An idea was born: why not combine titles to form a haiku
\nfor Haiku my Heart<\/a>? Aaah, that was way too difficult!<\/p>\n
I changed my self-imposed challenge into
\n‘form a haiku from words on a bookpage’…<\/p>\n
… and I did manage to do that!<\/p>\n

her soul dwells in starry nights<\/p>\n
when will she be heard?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
(I couldn’t get the syllables right in the Dutch translation without loosing
\nthe meaning, so the Dutch one is not a haiku.)<\/p>\n

I made this page at the beginning of the week.
\nAfter that, I started working on something I’d planned to do the minute
\nI bought carving tools: make my own alphabet stamps!<\/p>\n
I drew the alphabet, copied it onto erasers and started curving.
\nIt took me two evenings to complete the whole alphabet.
\nOn the paper, you can see I drew the ‘holes’ in the letters (the O for example)
\nI ruined two pieces of eraser trying to get that little peace out, so I decided
\nto leave it alone. I kinda like the effect of the ‘closed alphabet’ though!<\/p>\n

Rosie<\/a> had been working on a page with a technique called ‘found poetry’…
\nShe shows a lovely page with cut out words and sentences that form a poem.
\nI must have picked up her ‘vibes’.<\/p>\n
Julie Fei-Fan<\/a> showed her hand carved alphabet she cut out a long time ago.
\nShe even left the ‘holes in the letters’ closed, she must have had the same
\nproblem with that as I faced! Julie’s vibes were in the air too I guess…<\/p>\n
Can you imagine I hardly dare to start a new page?!
\nWho’s vibes will accompany me this time?<\/p>\n
There might even someone stand up right now and say:
\n‘Hey, I made a page about chess last week! You copy-cat!’<\/p>\n
I better clean the house.
\nDo the laundry.
\nWork in the garden.<\/p>\n
