{"id":3131,"date":"2011-08-16T16:16:59","date_gmt":"2011-08-16T15:16:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/?p=3131"},"modified":"2013-02-03T15:02:47","modified_gmt":"2013-02-03T14:02:47","slug":"more-vibes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/more-vibes\/","title":{"rendered":"More vibes&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I woke up very early this morning.<br \/>\nThe sun peeped through the curtains and the room was full of light.<br \/>\nI was just dozing off again when, in the corner of my eye, I saw something<br \/>\nstrange hovering in the air &#8230; it looked like a smoke-curl, but it  was not.<br \/>\nThe shape\u00a0 of the curl changed while it swirled through the room and the<br \/>\ncolours seemed to flow from red to orange to yellow&#8230; It was a happy curl!<\/p>\n<p>Suddenly I was wide awake!<br \/>\nI blinked with my eyes &#8211; yep, still there&#8230;<br \/>\nI wondered  what this could be&#8230;<br \/>\nand then it hit me &#8211; it was a vibe!<br \/>\nSomeone  had sent me a vibe!<\/p>\n<p>Now I was really curious!<br \/>\nWhat kind of vibe  would it be?<br \/>\nIn any event a fun, positive vibe for its color was so  bright!<br \/>\nI jumped out of bed, took a leap and then I caught him.<\/p>\n<p>My oh my&#8230; it was a cleaning vibe! YAY!<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know who send it to me, but THANK YOU!!!<br \/>\nIt was just the one I needed!<\/p>\n<p>I used it well during the day, and it shrank to just an eeny meeny little vibe.<br \/>\nI layed it beside the computer so it could rest. I have the feeling it will be<br \/>\nstrong enough tonight to take off again, and I&#8217;ll send it to someone else<br \/>\nwho needs it. (Jenneke perhaps? There&#8217;s something strange<br \/>\ngoing on with my pages though&#8230; at the beginning of the year I made<br \/>\na square book especially for these prompts and the pages all seem to<br \/>\nturn out a bit like record album covers.<br \/>\nThey don&#8217;t look like my &#8216;normal&#8217; art journal pages at all&#8230;<br \/>\nwell, never mind what they look like, here&#8217;s my contribution for this prompt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Run devil run<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/01-run-devil-run.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3132\" title=\"01-run-devil-run\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/01-run-devil-run.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"950\" height=\"909\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/01-run-devil-run.jpg 950w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/01-run-devil-run-300x287.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<pre>(21 x 19,5 cm - 8.3 x 7.7 inch)<\/pre>\n<p>I had the image of the cartoon (I think she&#8217;s called &#8216;Electra&#8217;?)<br \/>\nand I  found it very fitting and complementary for the song lyrics.<br \/>\nThe  background is painted black, white watersoluble crayons for the &#8216;light&#8217;<br \/>\nbehind the figure, the title is written with sharpie markers and the  border<br \/>\nis made with puffy paint.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Birthday card for my uncle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/02-kaart-erik.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3133\" title=\"02-kaart-erik\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/02-kaart-erik.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"875\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/02-kaart-erik.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/02-kaart-erik-300x291.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<pre>(approximately 15 x 15 cm - 6 x 6 inch)\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>See those &#8216;waves&#8217;??? I carved my own &#8216;wave stamp&#8217; and used clear embossing<br \/>\npowder. After spraying the dark blue mist over it, I wiped it away from the<br \/>\nwaves and it left me with this image! They all contain images of the mosaic tiles from the<br \/>\n&#8216;Mud\u00e9jar Palace&#8217; in Sevilla and they are sooooo beautiful!<br \/>\nI didn&#8217;t want to cut them, so I scanned some of the patterns to print.<br \/>\nI used the pieces as a border. He also bought me a Spanish teaspoon &#8211;<br \/>\nit&#8217;s kind of a gimmick between him and me. Whenever he is on vacation,<br \/>\nhe buys me a teaspoon! (My wicked collection &#8216;teaspoons Nout bought<br \/>\nme as a souvenir&#8217; is up to ten now!) The spoon came in the little pocket<br \/>\nwhich is glued to the right. Ofcourse I used my hand-carved alphabet<br \/>\nand number stamps (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/?p=3089\" target=\"_blank\">see former post<\/a>) for the dates.<\/p>\n<p>I will be back with more (I hope) later this week!<br \/>\nOh, and Dutch girls: enjoy the sunshine!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I woke up very early this morning.
