MY-OH-MY, how long has it been since I posted a photo of my workdesk? Has it really been June since I last put my name in the woyww-circle-list? Well, life takes a flight isn’t it? I even have not posted anything else but a weekly haiku over the last weeks, so there’s a bunch of new things to show… do you have time? Well then, grab a cuppa and enjoy (and if you only want to look at my desk and skip the journal pages, go ahead I won’t blame you!)<\/p>\n

The little “Cairn” book on my desk I made to practise a special binding technique, here’s a close up.<\/p>\n

I used very thick watercolour paper for the pages (I guess: 300 grams or more… I had a big piece of that in my stash) and I plan on filling this book with paintings of cairn. A cairn<\/strong> is a human-made pile (or stack) of stones raised for a purpose, usually as a marker or as a burial mound. The word cairn comes from the Scottish Gaelic: c\u00e0rn ~ Wikipedia<\/em><\/p>\n
