Today’s post is packed with pages I made inspired by other artists
\nand\/or posts. Ofcourse we get inspiration from the world we live in,
\nthe people we met and our surroundings all the time.
\nFor example: I find a lot of inspiration in words like song lyrics, poems
\nand quotes. But I can work vice versa too – start with an image and find
\nthe right words to go with it afterwards.<\/p>\n

I thought it would be fun to tell you the inspiration-sources with each
\npiece I made last weekend.<\/p>\n

Inspiration source: Michelle LaPoint – Rydell<\/a><\/p>\n

In my last post I commented that I was working on a page in my
\n‘album cover journal’. Michelle LaPoint – Rydell integrated album
\nsleeves in her art journals a while ago, and when I saw her doing this<\/a>
\nI thought it would be neat to make something similar in my album
\ncover journal.<\/p>\n

I journaled all bands and singers that I love or have dear memories of…
\nThe old record (eeckk – James Last!) is there for the colour. I want to
\nreplace it with another one from a more appropriate musician when I
\nfind a label in the right colour.<\/p>\n

In this blogpost<\/a>, Danielle talked about a zentangling group she joined
\nand how much she’d learn there. I clicked on a link she provided – from
\nthere on I clicked some more links and I ended up finding this tutorial<\/a>
\nabout paradox zentangling. I just HAD to try it in my grid journal!

Theresa and Lea started this challenge blog and wow – that was
\na year ago already! Scrapbookers Anonymous is celebrating the event
\nwith mini challenges al through the Month. The challenges are thought
\nup by different team members and some come with tutorials as well.
\n(See for example this tutorial and challenge<\/a>, made by my friend Lena)<\/p>\n
I made the next page especially for this challenge<\/a> that was provided
\nby Theresa but in fact, almost all my art work fits the challenge:
\nno photo’s, journaling is required and use your stash.<\/p>\n

\nchronicles page ‘week 36’\u00a0 – it has more of the ‘journaling’ you asked for
\nin the challenge as well, so it may even fit better?!)<\/em><\/p>\n

Teesha<\/em>:\u00a0 making borders out of old scraps of pattern papers may not be
\nexclusively Teesha’s idea, but I picked it up at her blog first.<\/p>\n
Phinner<\/em>: who send me the postcard with the funky ‘mardy grass’ dancer on it!<\/p>\n
National Geographic magazines<\/em>: My aunt gave me a whole bunch of these
\nmagazines some years ago and I still use them a lot! There’s always a fun and
\nfitting image somewhere on one of the pages. I think I flipped through these
\nmagazines a thousand times by now and it keeps on inspiring me!
\nThis time, I cut out the photo of the meerkats.<\/p>\n
