I used to be a yellow –
\norange – red kinda person!<\/p>\n
I don’t know what
\nhappened but all of
\na sudden I love this
\ncolour so much.<\/p>\n
Why analyse anyway…

This page isn’t green yet… I made it before I bought the paint! THE PROMPT<\/strong>: Peace Peace and leather led to the big peace sign!<\/p>\n I have a lot of small pieces of leather in a box, and I stitched some of them Here’s a close-up:<\/p>\n There’s a Dutch poem about peace (Leo Vroman – ‘Vrede’) and I used a line What are your thoughts about peace? OK, here we go… here’s where the green comes in!<\/p>\n The recipe book I made for my son! Here’s a pic of the side.<\/p>\n I love all the happy coloured papers that show in the spine!<\/p>\n I used old recipe cards as pages.<\/p>\n I sewed patterned paper on one side to punch the holes in. Next is a page in my big art journal.

Used materials\/techniques: acrylic paint, leather, sewing machine,\r\nsharpies, pearl pen (dimensional dots and border)<\/pre>\n
\ntogether. Just fooling around with the title and leather.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
\nfrom it (well, that’s not completely true: in the poem, the swearing is even
\nmore harsh). I found it fitting to balance all the ‘cuteness’ on the page…<\/p>\n

\n(Again, I used the olive green paint but it turned out rather yellow looking.
\nI discovered differences can be made by using thicker or more layers.
