WAAHAAAA news and art pieces in this post

11

As promised sweeties… my big news… WAAHAAAAA…

The top 2000 has become a major event over the years in the Netherlands.

It is not only broad-casted on the radio, but there is a television show every

evening and this year, the digital TV channel ‘Cultura 24’ pays attention to this

event also. Last week, I got a call from a Cultura 24 journalist if they could

come film and interview me about my top 2000 blog party… they want to

make an ‘item’ and also mention it on the ‘top 2000 journaal.’

OH.MY.GOODNESS.

They will be here on Friday morning (December 30th) with a video camera…

Eeeck!! Isn’t that exciting? I don’t know when it will be on tv and/or on the

radio though. If it can be seen on youtube I will certainly put a link to the film

in my blogpost (that is – if I don’t act like a fool 😉 )

Also (oh yes – there’s more!) I got a call from a journalist from a Dutch daily

newspaper. He was writing an article about the top 2000 and what people do

during this musical event… I had quite a conversation with him and my name

might pop up in the paper this morning (Haven’t seen it yet – I will edit this

post en let you know after I’ve read it…) For the Dutchies: ‘Algemeen Dagblad’

Edit – I read it, and it’s like I said: ‘my name popped up’. It’s just a few lines,

quoting me. (Oh, and the headline is my quote) Not much, but it’s still nice

to see my name in print.

OK – are you jumping up and down now? I know I am!

Try to relax and sit down, ’cause here are the art pieces I received ordered

by number (counting down). If there is more coming in today, I will add them

to this post and change the number at the top, so you only have to look at the

number to see if there’s more added during the day.

(Click on each picture to enlarge –

If you want to play along, read this post for details )

Turn your music boxes on to hear the music play and

let’s rock some more!
