Imagine me running up and down<br \/>\nthe stairs all the time &#8211; it&#8217;s pretty annoying (to me anyway!)<\/p>\n<p>So the stuff I use most &#8211; tools like scissors and craft knives and materials<br \/>\nlike paint and spray ink didn&#8217;t see the top floor anymore&#8230;<br \/>\nI kept them down stairs, and it looked like this:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/01-corner.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-539\" title=\"01-corner\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/01-corner.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/01-corner.jpg 675w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/01-corner-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 675px) 100vw, 675px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Slowly but surely, this corner of our room became packed with my stuff!<br \/>\nA month ago, two cases with stamps and inks came down the stairs also,<br \/>\nand stayed there ever since&#8230; the stuff took over the room!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/02-corner.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-540\" title=\"02-corner\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/02-corner.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/02-corner.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/02-corner-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/02-corner-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From left to right: stamps and inks &#8211; toolbox containing scissors, craft knives,<br \/>\nbrushes, tape and so on &#8211; plastic bag with paint, oil crayons, paint roller &#8211;<br \/>\nbig paper bag with spray ink and glimmer mist and on top of that a case filled<br \/>\nwith the most used markers and a smaller case with my copic markers.<\/p>\n<p>This corner of our living room was a mess!<br \/>\nMy beloved didn&#8217;t mind but I DID!<br \/>\nThis couldn&#8217;t go on any longer &#8211; I needed a better &#8216;system&#8217;<br \/>\nAnd I found it!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/03-drawer.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-541\" title=\"03-drawer\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/03-drawer.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/03-drawer.jpg 675w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/03-drawer-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 675px) 100vw, 675px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ikea did the trick!<br \/>\nThis may seem a simple chest of drawers but it works perfectly for me!<br \/>\nAll the most used tools and materials fit perfectly and the colours match<br \/>\nour bookcase and our table.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/04-drawer.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-542\" title=\"04-drawer\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/04-drawer.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"567\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/04-drawer.jpg 567w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/04-drawer-189x300.jpg 189w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 567px) 100vw, 567px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the best part is: it has wheels!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/05-drawer.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-543\" title=\"05-drawer\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/05-drawer.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/05-drawer.jpg 675w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/05-drawer-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 675px) 100vw, 675px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I roll this little fellow to the table where I work and I have easy access<br \/>\nto my materials! No more kneeling in the corner for me. My butt stays<br \/>\nright on the chair and I can find whatever I need in the drawers! This is the book I plan to work in for <a href=\"http:\/\/oneyearartjournal.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">A Year in the Life<br \/>\nof an Art Journal<\/a>.
