Materials used: gesso,\r\nacrylic paint, dried rose petals and cut out text from an\r\nold fairytale book.)<\/pre>\n<p>I made this &#8216;Letter&#8217; a while ago &#8211; and it seemed to be the last bright<br \/>\nand &#8216;sweet&#8217; letter for a while, &#8217;cause let me show you what came next&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>As you all know, last week the debut issue of my magazine <a href=\"http:\/\/www.featuringmagazine.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">FEATURING<\/a><br \/>\nwas send to the first customers &#8211; and of course it took some time before<br \/>\nthey received their copy. Materials used: pieces of\r\nhandmade paper, acrylic paint, distress ink, torn image (desert),\r\nstamp, template,  glimmer mist ('graphit') and cut out text from\r\nan old fairytale book.<\/pre>\n<p>My magazine &#8216;baby&#8217; has both the looks and the brains &#8211; I know that &#8211;<br \/>\nbut will &#8216;the world&#8217; see it too? All the time that we worked on the magazine,<br \/>\nI was convinced about how good it is &#8211; (and I still am!) &#8211; as is the team &#8211;<br \/>\nbut sending the copies out into the world suddenly scared me to pieces.<br \/>\nHow would the first readers react? MAN I had a ROUGH week!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Chronicles of Marit 2012 &#8211; Week 17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/week17-2012.jpg\"><img wpfc-lazyload-disable=\"true\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6446\" title=\"week17-2012\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/week17-2012.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"639\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/week17-2012.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.maritspaperworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/week17-2012-300x213.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<pre>(Size: 24,5 x 49 cm \u2013 9.65 x 14.86 inch)<\/pre>\n<p><em>&#8220;It makes no sense to worry about things you have no control over because<br \/>\nthere&#8217;s nothing you can do about them. The activity of worrying keeps you<br \/>\nimmobilized.&#8221; ~ Wayne Dyer ~<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Immobilized&#8217; &#8211; that&#8217;s indeed the right word to depict week 17.<br \/>\n&#8216;Paralized&#8217; might be even a better word to describe how I felt.<\/p>\n<p>The only thing I did was put a daily sneak peek of an article on<a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Featuringmagazine\" target=\"_blank\"> Facebook<\/a>.<br \/>\nThere were &#8216;likes&#8217;<br \/>\na lot of &#8216;likes&#8217; \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>And then&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>the comments started to come in on facebook:<\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>Mhh and it looks great. You don`t hear me this evening :-))))<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em>Just received my copy. Looks great. Looking forward to<br \/>\nreading the interesting articles<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><em>Just LOVE FEATURING!
