Isn’t the online world an amazing place?<\/p>\n

I’m grateful every day for the connections that I made with kindred souls
\nover the years – and now something COOL is about to happen…<\/p>\n

I got to know Lea<\/a> (from the US) and Kimberly<\/a> (from the UK) through the
\nhaiku circle, and tomorrow they both will be in Rotterdam at the museum
\nto celebrate ‘World Labyrinth Day’ and I WILL MEET THEM THERE!!<\/p>\n

I dedicate my haiku to Lea and Kimberly<\/p>\n

More ancient shapes were on my mind last week. I don’t know why
\nthey suddenly appear, is it because of the labyrinths that Lea taught
\nme about? Re-reading the article that she wrote about this phenomenon
\nin FEATURING magazine<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Whatever it may have been that triggered it – a character from a bygone era
\nsuddenly stepped onto my paper…<\/p>\n

Letters from the Wasteland – 8th Letter<\/strong><\/p>\n

Size: 16 x 11 cm - 6.3 x 4.3 inch.\r\nThe background is made from a left over piece of paper (I love\r\nthe small wood fibers that are in there!) Hand carved stamp (circles\r\nand spirals) - Stazon ink - Indian ink and dip pen - white Sharpie\r\npen - cut out text from an old fairytale book.<\/pre>\n
This little guy is from Australia (‘hello there mate’)
\n“How can I tell that” you ask?
\nWell – he whispered to me in a dark voice that he came from an old era – from
\na place where aboriginals hunt with boomerangs and play the didgeridoo…<\/p>\n
You don’t believe me?
\nThen look at this lad<\/p>\n

I started to\u00a0 explore aboriginal art on the Internet.
\nI found images like this one…<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
… and I plan to do some more research.
\nI think I found a new inspiration source and some of these
\ninfluences will probably show on my pages in the next weeks.<\/p>\n
